Sam worked in private practice and in legal publishing following qualification as a solicitor, specialising in corporate and company secretarial matters. She was admitted as an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) in April 2002 and was elected to Fellowship in December 2010. Sam joined Waste Recycling Group as Assistant Company Secretary in December 2004 and moved to Infinis as Company Secretary in September 2006.
