Infinis has an established track record as a developer of renewable generating facilities and is developing a strong portfolio of new projects comprising 10MW in construction, 55MW in pre-construction, 43MW consented, 137MW in planning, 169MW in development and approximately 510MW at various feasibility stages.
We have an experienced, multi-disciplined wind team with expertise in engineering, environmental management, energy, planning, power purchase, finance and construction.
The team has a strong track record in delivering planning consents, obtaining planning permission for the Lissett Airfield wind farm in seven months; A'Chruach in five months; Glenkerie in nine months and Gordonstown Hill in six months - significantly shorter timescales than typically achieved in the UK.
As a responsible developer we recognise the importance of open and inclusive consultation throughout the planning process and we engage with stakeholders through newsletters, presentations, one-to-one meetings and public exhibitions. Comments from local residents are addressed where possible in our final designs before we submit formal planning applications. We continue to consult after a planning application has been submitted and, if consent is granted, continue to liaise throughout the construction and operation of the wind farm.
