Tedder Hill
Tedder Hill wind farm was granted planning permission by the Planning Inspectorate, following a public inquiry, on 28 January 2010.
The scheme will be situated on farm land between the villages of Roos and Rimswell, in the south of the East Riding of Yorkshire, and will comprise three wind turbines with a maximum tip height of 111m from the turbine base to the blade tip.
Site wind speed is estimated to be 7.39m/sec at 60m above ground level and we are progressing the installation of an on-site meteorological mast to confirm this.
Infinis has commenced tendering for the project with a view to having the site under construction in autumn 2012 following collection of sufficient on-site wind data. We expect the wind farm to be operational by spring 2013.
