Wingates
In April 2011 Infinis received planning consent from Northumberland County Council for a wind farm to be known as Wingates wind farm on the ridgeline to west of Wingates village, 6km west of Longhorsley in Northumberland. The final consented site is for six turbines up to 110m in height with a total expected generation capacity of 12 to 15MW.
On 19th July we held the first in a series of Wingates Wind Farm Community Liaison Group (CLG) meetings where elected parish councillors meet with Infinis to receive updates on the project through the pre-construction, construction and operational phases.
If you are interested in the proposal and would like further information or have any queries, please contact us at: wingateswindfarm@infinis.com. Alternatively members of the public may submit questions directly to the CLG through their parish council.
A copy of the planning application and related documents is available for the public to view at Northumberland County Council, County Hall, Northumberland, NE61 2EF, Telephone 0845 600 6400. Other documents relating to the site are available to download below.
