Our Responsibility

Infinis is committed to achieving and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental protection

Safety

The highest priority for our business is the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees and those who may be impacted by our activities.

Health and safety is embedded within the Infinis culture, demonstrated by our exceptional health and safety record, with safety at the forefront of everything we do.

In 2021, we retained our ROSPA President's Award and received ROSPA Gold Awards for the thirteenth successive year.

Together with the British Safety Council's International Award with distinction, we consistently receive the highest levels of external recognition for our focus on, and continuous development of, safe working practices across our organisation.

We continue to seek ways of improving our sites and reducing risks through good design and maintenance, with safety rules, tools and training put in place to cover any residual risks.

Sustainability

Sustainability is now at the top of both government and corporate agendas.

Infinis is uniquely positioned in the UK energy sector to help more organisations meet their sustainability goals.

Our strategy of continuing to invest in, and develop, new renewable and sustainable forms of energy further reinforces our position as a sustainable energy generator.

Our own sustainability as a business is equally important, and employees are central to the design, prioritisation and implementation of a sustainability strategy which underpins everything we do.

We focus on reducing, reusing or recycling key waste streams from our operations.

At the same time, our technical and engineering teams continue to evaluate and promote new innovations, more efficient technologies and different operational practices that help reduce our environmental impact.
