Job title:  HR Advisor

Location:  Northampton

We have an opportunity to welcome an experienced HR Advisor to our team on a fixed term basis for 12 months' maternity cover.  This role is an integral part of the HR Team required to guide, develop and coach our managers on all people related aspects including recruitment, performance and employee relations

Your role responsibilities are not limited to but will include:

  • Providing advice and guidance to our managers on our people processes and policy to encourage good people management standards
  • Working with managers to deliver thorough, time efficient and legally compliant case management for investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, family friendly, wellbeing and absence
  • Supporting HR Administrator with monthly payroll processing and employee benefit administration
  • Working with HR Administrators to complete people administration tasks, helping to deliver an effective and agile HR service to the business
  • Encourage smart ways of working through continuous review of people processes, use and input of people data
  • Work with HR Manager to deliver monthly people metric reviews and HR health checks
  • Support Head of HR and HR Manager with implementation of people projects as required
  • Provide guidance to employees on employee lifecycle activities from onboarding to leaving including employee benefits
  • Supporting hiring managers with recruitment campaigns end to end.

Candidates will have good experience in a HR advisory role with willingness to learn and identify areas of opportunity that will grow your career.

CIPD Level 5 qualification is desirable.

You will be required to travel our sites and Centre of Excellence occasionally, therefore you must be comfortable with regular UK business travel.
